Ban Polystyrene (A.K.A Styrofoam)

Polystyrene (a.k.a styrofoam) is toxic to humans and the environment.  Food in styrofoam containers can be contaminated from the chemicals, and this effect is made worse when people heat food up in the containers. The goal of this project is to encourage students to learn more about how styrofoam affects both humans and the environment.  Students will use their collected data to determine which product is the best alternative to using styrofoam as a carry-out container.
