Beat Obesity
Childhood obesity is a serious medical condition that affects children and adolescents. It is a condition in which a child is significantly overweight for his or her age and height. Childhood obesity can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Improving the entire family’s diet and exercise habits is one of the best ways to achieve a healthy weight in the child. The goal of this project is to have students research and explore the issue of childhood obesity, what students can do to prevent this issue and spread awareness to other students, parents, and their school community.
