AgEd and Advocacy Lesson 2: Organic vs. Conventional – How Do We Grow Our Food?

Onions, carrots, red onions and other vegetablesStudents analyze conventionally grown and organically grown food to make an argument about which form of agriculture is best. First, they conduct a taste test with produce. Then, they read and discuss articles comparing the two methods. Finally, students develop their argument, cite evidence and explain how this evidence supports their claim.
